THE TRUTH IS — The lesson in Psalms 78

THE TRUTH IS — The lesson in Psalms 78 is that of pointing us to our lives in 2015, as if we were figuratively still IN THE WILDERNESS, with many in unbelief, even with water and food sent down from God. Verses 18-20 = “And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust. Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness? Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? Can he provide flesh for his people?” Now read the great context by reading more of this chapter, and you will find us today, in PRINCIPLE, in the same scenario. This chapter very clearly displays God’s wrath against disobedience.

The Truth Is — 1st Cor 15:19

1st Cor. 15:19 = “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” The context herein is required for full comprehensive understanding. So we quote V.16,17,18″ also teaching us that the HOPE is found profoundly in the RESURRECTION OF CHRIST. If He is not resurrected, then we are still in our sins and we who are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. Then V20 – “But now is Christ risen from the dead, & become  the FIRST-FRUITS of them that slept.” Finally, V.21 – “For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.” So we are all not going to stay dead because Jesus Christ is Risen from the dead.

The Truth is both salvations [timely, gospel & eternal] are discussed

Both Salvations are discussed in many verses in the K.J.T.
However, herein, I stress the contextual teaching found in
Phil. 2:12-13 – “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always
obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more
in absence, work out your own salvation with fear and
trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to
will and to do of his good pleasure.” First we will notice
that Paul is writing to “already born-again-Regenerated
Church Members,” to continue obeying God’s will and
good pleasure, not IN ORDER TO ACQUIRE, but just to
exercise what is already in your possession. Herein are
clearly BOTH Salvations. You cannot “work out” some-
thing not yet in your possession.

New member

Palm Bethel was pleased to accept a new member on August 9th.  Isabel C. Ramos asked for a home in the church.  She’s coming to us from Columbia Primitive Baptist Church in Burtonsville Maryland.  WE are so pleased to have her join our congregation.  IMG_1640
